Top 4 Betting Sites for Live Streaming

By Michael Flynn, Feb 19 2013 07:28PM

2. Betfair

The top bookies now offer live streaming of sporting events, a real positive if the event is not on TV or you don't have SKY. This does not mean you can watch Premier League Football with no subscription, but you can watch a number of European leagues for little outlay.

Some of the live streams can only be seen in certain countries, for example bet365 have the English football but can only be viewed from abroad. However, they do show the European games for UK customers.

A big draw to the live streaming are the tennis matches, not all of them are shown on TV and there are matches all year round. But it’s not just the Tennis that gets shown; a number of other sports are available too. I will put the sports available next to the relevant bookmaker.

I tend not to use Live Streaming as I prefer to watch the sports on TV and generally only bet on sports on the TV, however I have used it for Horse Racing. There is a few seconds delay for the racing, but this is not to be worried about as the TV is delayed as well. I’m sure I will use the service more in the future, especially with super-fast broadband and I could always connect my laptop to the TV!

I have put together the top 5 betting sites which show live streaming:

4. Coral

football, Tennis, Horse Racing, Greyhound Racing, Volleyball, Snooker, Basketball, Darts, Cricket, Ice Hockey, Rugby League, Bowls and Handball.

How to watch the Live Streaming

Firstly, you must have an account at Betfair, click here to open one.

Betfair Live Video is currently free of charge for all content with the exception of horseracing.

A minimum matched bet of GBP5 must be placed on the relevant ‘day of the race market’ via the exchange, or in a tote market in order to watch a particular horse race. You should be aware that SP bets do not qualify as matched bets until the very start of race and you will therefore be unable to access the race stream until this time.

My opinion on Betfair Live Streaming:

I would say Betfair have a great live streaming application, there are so many live events to watch and bet on at the same time. If you like betting at an exchange then Betfair is thesite for you.

My opinion on Coral Live Streaming:

Out of the four bookies listed here I would use Coral last, they are good for odds on the racing so that is why I have added them here. So if you are placing a bet on the race in question you will be fine and not have to open another account elsewhere
